Home Solar Check is a residential solar and battery enquiry service powered by 4Shore Solar & Electrical (ABN 51 616 286 081). This policy explains how information submitted through this website is handled.

Information we collect

We collect the questionnaire answers, installation address, name, email address and phone number you provide. If you choose to upload them, we also collect electricity bills and meter-box photographs. We may record enquiry time, lead status and basic advertising or referral details such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers.

Why we collect it

We use this information to assess your solar or battery needs, prepare and discuss a quote, contact you about your enquiry, manage follow-up, keep a reliable record of enquiries and understand which advertising or referral sources are working.

How it is stored and shared

Lead details and upload metadata are held in a private managed database, and uploaded documents and images are held in private managed file storage. The website and its storage are provided through OpenAI Sites. Email notifications and customer confirmations are sent using Resend. These service providers process information on our behalf to operate the enquiry service. Information may be processed or stored outside Australia.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it when required by law, or to service providers and people who reasonably need it to help respond to or deliver your requested solar or battery service.

Retention and security

We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, prepare quotes, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. We use restricted administrator access and private storage, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Uploads are optional. You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or request deletion where we are not required to retain it. You can also tell us if you no longer want to be contacted about your enquiry.
